1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to the EdgeBloom mobile game and related public support materials for the app.
2. Information the app uses
EdgeBloom is designed to keep core gameplay local to your device.
- Match state, scores, and local preferences are handled on-device.
- The app stores limited local state such as whether the one-time ad-free unlock has been activated on the device.
- The app does not require account creation, public profiles, or chat features to play its current shipped modes.
3. Advertising and consent
EdgeBloom may display ads in non-gameplay surfaces such as menu or end-of-match screens. Live gameplay itself is intended to remain free from ad placements.
- Ads and consent handling are provided through Google services, including Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
- Depending on your region, you may be asked to review privacy choices before ads are requested.
- If required by the applicable consent flow, the app provides an in-app privacy choices entry point so you can review those choices again later.
- If you grant permission on supported iOS devices, app tracking permission may be used to support ad measurement or personalized ads through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
4. Purchases
EdgeBloom offers a one-time non-consumable purchase to remove ads on the device. Purchase processing, billing, and restoration are handled by the platform store providers, such as Google Play or Apple.
5. Third-party services
Third-party providers may process information according to their own policies when their services are used in the app. This can include identifiers, device information, IP address, app diagnostics, consent status, purchase metadata, fraud prevention signals, or ad performance data.
- Google services for ads, consent messaging, and related ad measurement.
- Apple App Store or Google Play services for in-app purchases.
6. How information is used
- To run the app and save local gameplay-related preferences.
- To deliver or suppress ads based on consent status and purchases.
- To process and restore the one-time remove-ads purchase.
- To support fraud prevention, compliance, and service diagnostics.
7. Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until it is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Third-party providers retain data according to their own operational, legal, and policy requirements.
8. Your choices
- You can remove the app at any time, which clears app-managed local data stored on the device.
- You can use the in-app privacy choices entry point when available.
- You can control app tracking permission on iOS through the device settings after Apple shows the tracking prompt.
- You can purchase the ad-free unlock to suppress ads on the device.
9. Children
EdgeBloom does not intentionally request personal information directly from children through in-app account systems. If the app is distributed to an audience that requires under-age treatment, ad requests can be configured to use under-age-of-consent handling.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product, provider, legal, or store requirement changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are made.
